Nopigia

Nopigia is a small seaside village located 6km east of Kissamos and 30km west of Chania.  The village lies in front of a sandy beach with clear and shallow waters. In the village you will find all the necessary facilities, such as restaurants, cafes and touristic accommodation. Nopigia is an ideal choice for holidays in a tranquil environment. On the east side of the village, the beach becomes rockier and more secluded. There are also several pebbly and rocky coves of unique beauty in the area.

Kissamos

A town museum can be found in the old Venetian governor’s palace and there have been important archaeological finds in the town, including fine mosaics, and the port of Poliniria. Additionally most of the famous sights and beaches can be found in the area, such as Elafonissi, Falassarna and Balos on Cape Gramvoussa.
